i have a baer five lug swap kit on my car with the modified fox spindles i have been running it for about 2 years now and love it. the only problem is that i have 01 gt 5 star wheels on it and the dust cap wouldnt clear the center cap, so i used a hole saw bit on my center cap and the dust cap sticks out. it doesnt bug me that much but i would like to have my center caps normal especially since iam gonna run split 5s soon. if i run a 94 or up spindle will this fix that problem?

thanks guys

Simple answer: Yes, this will solve your problem. The 94+ spindles used all of the 5 lug wheels, like Bullitt, Cobra R, the wheels you mentioned etc. The spindles were specifically designed for cars that utilize these wheels. I also use a Baer kit, and went with the modified Fox spindles, since Baer recommended them, as they are a forged part, and stronger/superior to the 94+ spindles. However, it would have been nice if they mentioned the wheel fitment problems that these spindles create, as a majority of the Ford factory wheels will not fit! A lot of guys eliminate the dust cap, or flatten it with a hammer. I run the Bullitt wheels with a plastic 'gear' style center cap, kind of reminiscent of the original Cragar or Torque Thrust wheels that Ford ripped off in the first place! lol

is it a pretty much straightforward swap? i have a full upr tubular front suspension and coil overs, will this affect doing the newer style spindle swap?

Unless it is a daily driver you should be able to pull the dust cap and run a 1/8" spacer to clear the center cap.
