As some of you have seen I totaled my stang last friday night. I have my eye on a SN95 again. But it is an auto. I was wondering how hard of a swap out it is from auto to manual? I have the manual already. Thanks guys, you have all been supportive.

if you already have everything you need, then the swap is a breeze. if your totaled car is a 5spd and the new car is an auto, you will need. pedals, tranny harness, computer, driveshaft. the rest is pretty obvious. i did the swap on my car and it was pretty painless, if you have had experience pulling trannies.

Finding the parts is the hardest part of the swap. If the clutch, PP and TOB are old you might want to replace them with new parts.Similar threads
