question about dumps and chicane center exhaust.

on my 2004 GT i eventually am going to put on the chicane center exhaust. http://www.chicanesport.com/product_catalog.html

in the meantime i want to get an offroad hpipe and some mac mufflers put on. what i am wondering is how much work is it going to be to fit the chicane exhaust system to the mufflers. i have yet to see a full picture of how the exhaust bolts up.

I don't know if you've seen this, but here is their kit for the '03/'04 Cobra. It will fit GTs with the Cobra rear bumper. I've already got the bumper, so I've been thinking about doing this with my GT. Otherwise, you either end up with a GT w/Saleen rear bumper which looks odd, or a whole Saleen kit which is big money after prep and paint.

I think it would look good with the Chicane panel painted flat-black on my car:

Here's another link to the Chicane pipes that shows a different pic. I'm thinking that all you get are short pipes. Then you have to cut the existing tail pipes and have these welded in.

Here's one that states that it has to be welded into your existing catback. Scroll about halfway down:

thnaks for the links... i read a post on corral where someone just hacked the stock pipes, slid the chicane over the existing catback pipes and tightened down the clamps. he said it was very easy. i think i am going with the saleen bumper. i guess i will just have to be a poser. i only did performance mods to my 94 so now its time to get a little ricey!
