Ok guys I'm still trying to decide on an exhaust system, and I really like the sound of the flowmaster 1 chamber mufflers, but I have a few questions...

1. Are these mufflers straight through, like I have been told?

2. Is there a catback system for our cars with these mufflers?

3. What name do they go by? (30 series, Delta force or whatever they are)

4. Does anyone know the cheapest place I can buy the mufflers (or catback if available)?

any chambered muffler won't be a straight through design... if you really want that... magnaflow is the way to go, and they sound comparable to flowmaster. as for me, I got a mustang-tuned turbo muffler, single chamber. the catback w/ those was from Jegs (well, I got them somewhere else, but same thing) pretty much, for the name, flowmaster is trademarked, so no other company can claim them if they're not... but there are very comparable designs out there... www.jegs.com has the catback for our cars for like $170 I think, w/ free shipping, and it comes w/ the 2 flowtubes, the mufflers, and the catback piping... all 2.5"

personally, in my experience... the cheap or no-name brand equipment work just as well, if not better than the large name brand stuff... all the pipe are is metal in a tube format... the mufflers are pretty much the same too... sound-deadening material, and some holes in a tube going through it... I don't know... maybe it's late, and I'm kidna irritable... but why spend more money than you have to?

Go with the 2 chamber. Its the classic 5.0 sound. There a 40 series. You wont be disappointed!

I like the 40 series, but I had been told that the 1 chambers are basically the same sound just louder and make some more power.

Magnaflow sounds good, but my friend had them on his 95 GT and they were just too quiet for my tastes.
