Question about gearing

After reading the posts about gearing it looks like the difference in rpm's between 3.73's and 4.10's in 5th gear is very small. Is this true? Also out of curiosity how many shifts does it take to get to 60 mph with 4.10's? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

1 shift, first to second. There should be a few 100s difference between 3.73s and 4.10s.

Is your 96 stock? if so, I wouldnt go with anything higher than 3.73s unless you are going with a headswap. Those stock heads dont flow crap up top.
