Question about intake manifold install.

For the many of you that have put in aftermarket intake manifolds did you reuse the old intake bolts or get new ones?

I have always reused intake bolts when installing intake manifolds. Some aftermarket intakes may need different bolts then the original intake, but in most cases they are included with the intake. Intake manifold bolts aren't torque-to-yield bolts like 5.0 head bolts are. Just make sure they are nice and clean and the heads are good and not rounded off (to prevent any future problems) and you should be good to go.

I got new ones, purely for aesthetics though. Do as stated above and you'll be fine.

Usually reuse the lower intake bolts,, and some manifolds come with new hardware to fasten the upper to the lower,,, Lee

Bought new bolts. Mostly for looks but I figured that way I didn't have to keep track of the old ones. I am lazy as hell.
