I just installed my new BBK looking LCAs and now my sway bar will not go back. Have I done something wrong or is this right and I have to get a new one to fit back? Spent 2 days to get them on(rust was an issue) just to find this out. All help is needed.

Thanks,
Paul

Maybe if you were to say why it won't fit, you'd get help.

Does it hit the pumpkin? Do the holes not line up? Are the LCA's too far apart? Too close together? How about some detail instead of, "It won't fit. Why?"

The sway bar is now to wide by over an inch. It does not hit anything other than the width is not good now. Could it have been bent sometime or is it suppose to be under that much tension when it is un-installed (meaning the ends are wider on the ground vs. when installed?) I hope this gives enough information as to why I need help. And baglock 1, I never get tired of seeing your avatar.

Thanks,
Paul

You installed the arms wrong they need to be switched left to right and vice a versa. If you look at the bracket where the sway bar mounts the plate should be off to one side or the other.

I didn't hold them up side by side to compare. The install directions were not worth having. I will check it out when I get home. Thanks.

There is no left or right to them per the manufacturer. So I still need help.

Not being too familiar with "BBK looking" LCA's, I'd stick my head under the car to ensure that the sway bar brackets (the plates welded to the LCA's) are centered on the conrol arm and not offset at all. If they're offset, chances are they are on the wrong side.
