I just bought these bushings because I'm putting them in my lower front control arms. I got the old ones out (heated them up) but couldn't get the shells out. The new energy's I bought have the shells, so my question is can I press the shells off of the new ones or do I have to buy a set without the shells?

Cut the old shells out any way you can. Sawzall, torch, die grinder. The new bushings will be a very tight fit.
