I'm doing a PI headswap soon with heads off of a 2000 GT. At the same time I'm swapping out the PI cams for some VT stage 1 cams. I got the cams in a few days ago and what I got were just the camshafts. Can I just take the cam sprockets off the PI cams and use them on the VT cams or will I have to get new ones? If so, where would be the best place to get these?

If the PI cams are off a 2000 GT then no, because they are press on sprockets. I just put VT blower cams in my 99 and I had to buy sprockets. 99-2000 had press on sprockets. Good pick on the VT cams.

What about my cam sprockets from my 96 (Romeo?) NPI cams? Would they fit the new VT cams?
