Question about rims

I had stock 15inch turbine rims and I just put on 16in pony rims..with wider tires, does this mess up the speedometer accuracy at all? would my speedometer be reading faster or slower..and also I think the front tires are rubbing against something inside the fender when I cut the wheel and back up..is that bad?

The tires being wider won't affect your speedo accuracy, if they are shorter or taller that will affect it. I had pony's with 255/50/16's and they rubbed the plastic inner fenders and the frame, any rub is bad. You can look inside the wheelwell and see where the tires are rubbing pretty easily, the rub spot should be shiny and clean looking. Can't do anything about it except get narrower tires or don't turn the wheels all the way when backing up. Later.

If you went to the 16 " wheels with 225-55-16 tires your speedo will be almost exactly the same. If they are a different size check here for the difference:

There are steering limiters that clip on the rack under the rubber bellows that Ford used in the 91-93 cars to keep the wheels from rubbing. You can probably get them to keep you from turning it too far, or just be careful when turning.

also can I use the lug nuts from the turbine rims? I'm just wondering because I am right now but I just wanna make sure

The same lug nuts should work, unless they are too long to fit under the centercap of the pony's.

The stock tire diameter is 25.7", as long as you are within .1 it should be the same.
225/60R15, 275/50R15, 235/55R16, 245/50R16, 245/45R17, 275/40R17, 315/35R17 are all 25.7" tall tires.
