Does anybody know what to use to plug the rear of the pass. head when doing the smog delete?? I'm quessing some kind of threaded plug. Does anyone have a pic of what it's looks like and the thread size, and should you apply anything to the threads???

I believe its called a thermac plug. Just take the bolts that you removed from the back of the heads and take them to hardware store and get matching thread plugs. I put thread sealant on almost every bolt/plug.

From what I remember it's two holes, one on each head. Once you start tearing stuff apart you'll be able to tell for sure...it's a pretty easy job.

Two holes back of heads, 1 hole each head. You can see the bolts in the back. There is a metal tube from you smog pump that goes to the back of your pass head which there is a bolt there then the tube connects to the other head. I am in the process of doing mine. I just cut mine by the head and going to plug it. Bolts were rusted.

Yes, there are two holes. One in each head. You will need thermactor plugs. You can buy them at the Ford dealership. They were sold out when I went .... so I ordered two from Summit. I believe they were a TFS part.

Some people have said they used old spark plugs in there. Also, I've heard that you can re-use the tube that you unbolt from the heads by flipping it or something.

This is what you need (unless you decide to do one of the alternate routes).

Part Number at Summit: TFS-51400265 (remember, you'll need TWO)

You can also take the old fitting and flip it backwards so the flat side faces the hole. Just a tad of High temp (red) slicone around the hole will seal everything nicely.
