Question about stock 4.6 V8 hp.

that whine is more than likely your TB, because after i put my 75mm on i noticed lots of whining and i conviced acouple people it was blown (and then told them the truth).
I have no dyno within 200+ miles away so does anyone have any idea what my car is running for RWHP??

I am planning on purchasing a used 2002 GT sometime in September/October as a birthday gift for myself. It will be my first Mustang ever owned and I am psyched.
One question I have however is how come at some cardomain websites, some people with 2002 V8 GT's have only around 250/255hp?
I thought V8's come stock with 260?
I dont want to be ripped off or anything. Is that any way I can tell how much HP there is other than a dyno?

260/302 stock and newer ones are a tad under rated.
