A few years ago i installed White Face guages and since then my fuel level gauge has been way off. I decided to paint my needles red and fix the fuel level guage while im at it. I think i have it fixed but i do have a question. As of right now im out of gas, i set the needle slightly below the empty mark, but when i turn the ignition switch off the guage drops a bit, almost to where you cant see the needle anymore, but as soon as i turn the ignition on it comes back to where i set it.. Is this something that needs fixed? Is it normal for the gauge to drop like that when the car is off? Should i be good as long as it keeps coming back to where i set it???
