question about taillight bezels......

i see that a lot of you guys have pained your taillight bezels black......when i tried to take the taillight out, i found out that the lights are part of the bezel...or am i goin crazy.....anyway...how'd u guys paint them....just mask the lights, or is it 2 pieces?thx

Its all one piece. What I did was put masking tape over the lights, then used a razor blade to cut it out. Left the tape over the lense, painted the bezel, then took the tape off.

Some guys(mine are one the way ) use the saleen tail light bezels. So then it will be like the 96+ lights where the tail light housing the the bezel are two different pieces.

get a can of black krylon fusion. Sand it down with 600 grit paper, make sure its clean and spray 3-4 coats on it. This is what mine looked like with that paint
