What do us 94-95 people have to do for this? Just curious because it is the FOX of the month award.

Are we suppose to get well known in the 4.6 forums in order to win their SN95 of the month award?

Or is there a 94-95 5.0 of the month award I didn't know about?

Just bored and thinking too much I guess..

I dont give an award in 4.6, its just a recognition thing among our peers
You could always start one in the 94-95 forum or come and say hi in the 4.6 talk section
Any SN95 is welcome to compete there
4.6 Talk was getting stale for a bit so i started the poll over there based on what Sammich and Frankenstang were doing over her cause it seems to work. Since then people seem to hang out there more and the poll is a nice way for members with a nice Stang to get recognized.

Are you sure SN95's can compete in FOX of the month? They aren't really fox bodies, even though much of the chassis is still the same. I consider fox bodies 79-93 only.

My point exactly.. we can't compete for it.

And like laser has pointed out, we would have to go over to the 4.6 forum and make ourselves known to be nominated in their section. It just wouldn't feel right taking nominations from people in the 4.6 forums.

EDIT: Also, in this case I think a 94-95 GT should have just as much a right to be in FOTM as you, considering you have the fox shell, but a 4.6 engine. We have the fox engine but a SN95 shell. Eh?

We were doing a SN of the Month in 94-95, but it never really took off. Between the lack of nominations/votes and myself being busy and not getting it posted, it kinda died. We're already into December now, but we could start it back up in January, if interested? I'll start a poll in 94-95 Talk, to gauge interest.

Yeah, too bad they only made the non Fox 5.0's for 2 years. I just run the voting & polls. An actual admin will have to make that call and he already did above.

I've thought about this before, too. SN-95 guys should get love, too.

Too bad you're the red headed bastard child of the pushrod cars, haha.

No offense, but if we narrowed it down to each class of Mustang, we'd have a whole sub forum of "of the month" threads...know what i mean? Next it would be Capri of the month, then coupe of the month, vert of the month, hatch of the month, SVO of the month...when each different smaller sub-class doesn't really have enough following to really get that deep into it with. I don't think it's a matter of leaving anyone out.

Ill post a poll about letting the '94 - '95 talk Stangs in on FOTM. It would have to be renamed 5.0 of the month. So 5.0OTM...

Edit: http://forums.stangnet.com/770631-change-fotm-5-0otm.html

POTM

Pushrod Of The Month. I'm only thinking that because we have a few stroker/Windsor guys. But then that would disqualify Teh Hack, and nobody wants that.

FOTM is just so catchy!

If the sn95 guys want to be allowed in they need to be voting in the poll.

Should try it again. I was told it was tried before in 4.6 but was welcome to try again. It really took off with alot of interest and if I fall back a day I get messages to get it going

I kinda like the idea of running all the years winners from each sub forum together for a Stang of the year of StangNet
