I have a question about New Jersey State Law on the color of FogLights.
I may want to film cover the 6" foglights on my 08 GT, Probably
Lamin - X Film, and I was wondering If the foglights have color restrictions as do the headlights? I believe the foglights would show normal color (clear), when turned on, but they would show Yellow when off. I don't know if any states restrict yellow color on the fogs, I'm interested in NJ, or when I drive out of state? Any help would be appreciated.

I think as long as you're running a legit halogen type bulb that is either yellow or cover your stock foggers with the yellow lamin-x you should be fine. Yellow is not an emergency signal like red or blue is so cops should not bug you about it.

I used Yellow 3000K Nokyas in my fog lights. Love the look and the functionality. Unfortunately they run hotter then the stock bulbs so they melted my guards off and they fell inside the housing (read still trying to figure out how the heck to fix that).

If i could do it again and money was no option I'd run 4300K or 5000K HID headlights and 3000K fogs with a light smoked tint lamini-x on the lenses.

I am using Hoen Endurance H10 foglight bulbs in my '06 GT. I like the yellow look very much. They do work better in fog too. Also, they haven't damaged my housings at all.
