Question for all you Drag Racers out there

['69 Hardtop]

I haven't really ever drag raced before, but where I am moving to, there won't be any road racing tracks close, but plenty of 1/4 mile and 1/8 miles.

What are the popular opinions on, or experiences with, Line-locks/Roll Controls, Launch Controllers, and what nots?

For instance, has anyone used N2MB's WOT Box No-Lift-To-Shift with 2 Stage Launch Control? Does it really deliver the promised .7 sec quicker ET? Seems a bit much.

I was considering either the SLP Line-lock or Hurst Roll Control and the MSD Launch Master just to get me started. Oh, and some smaller rims with better meats.

That's your topic, now discuss it amongst yourselves while I sit back and learn, please.

I'm using the MSD launch master and PMP/Jegs line lock setup. Both have served me well. I went with PMP/Jegs because I believe it to be safer to have a solenoid for each brake, with the ABS.

I checked out the PMP kit and the Jegs solenoids, good call. Seems to be a cheaper route as well.

Where did you mount the actuation switch? I was thinking of using the Hurst Sidewinder knob.

We use MDS step 2 launchmaster. Don't know your power level, but once your launches start to bite hard....stuff starts to break...lol.
