I am looking into getting the jba midlength headers over the winter but my question is, they reccomend checking the bolts periodically throughout the life. That really is'nt an option for me , i want to put them in and forget about it. Anybody had any experience with them coming loose or has anybody used the stage 8 locking bolts. I was going to reuse the stock studs but jba says the flange is too thick so they wont fit over the studs. And also if i can't use the stock gaskets what kid do you guys reccomend that wont blow out and will last a long time! I am thinking long term here because i will probably never get ri of this car.?

Percy's header gaskets, made of dead soft aluminum and are reusable. And I used diffrent locking bolts than stage 8, these were very easy to use. click on my sig to get the brand.

Stage 8's are expensive. I just drilled holes in the heads of the bolts and used lacing wire to a small hole drilled into the steel flange that runs the length of the headers.
(same way we lock down bolts on the machinegun mounts for the new coupolas)
