Its been about a month since i dropped the car. I used steeda superlite springs, tokico shocks/struts, steeda alum uca/lca's. I mostly have been cruising on highways while breaking in. Today i used it locally and had a nasty noise coming from the rear when i made turns. At first i thought it was rear diff...but then it sounded like the pipes could be hitting something. Anyone have this happen? It was dark so i'll check it out tomorrow. Looking for some suggestions to what i should be looking at.

What kind of cat-back do you have? Also, In the instrustions does it tell you to remove the Quad-Shocks?

The springs may have settled down and now there's less room for the exhaust plumbing.

i've got a borla 2 1/2" catback.... i was thinking that may be it. actually i'm hoping it is so i can order that spintech side exhaust.
also guys at steeda said to use the quads if i could, i have billstein for lowered cars.

my friend had a problem with the muffler tapping against his drive shaft when he went around corners. we loosened the bolts on the pipe connection the muffler to the midpipe, and moved the muffler to give it a little more clearance from the ds.

Check your exhaust pipe to see if you see a tire mark on the exhaust.

It'll look like what I have on mine.

You could try to adjust the cat back or get 1/4 or smaller wheel spacers. I would try to adjust the cat back first. I have the same problem as you.

Im not sure if this is of any help, but when i got my Eibach springs they came with a new "bump stop"...I believe is what its called. Basically its a rubber knob that it located above the rear axle (Im assuming its purpose is to prevent the rear end / axle housing from hitting the frame of the car if you bottom out) I replaced it with the smaller one, otherwise if i didnt, i think it would have caused some rubbing. The stock bump stop is fairly large and bulky. If you need any more info on this, Ill see what I can dig up.
