Question if 99-up window fits in 98

Anyone know if the 99-up window assembly will work in a 98 mustang gt? Well before winter I thought my window just fell off the track, so I took my door apart. I found pieces of metal in the bottom of the door from the window assembly, I don't know what the hell happened in there. So now I need to change the whole assembly out and found a good deal on a 2000 mustang window assembly.
