How much power can the stock Block on a 01Cobra handle? Also I heard that the 96-98 Cobra aluminum block is much stronger then the 01 Block and if thats the case could I use it for my 01 Cobra. Where can I buy one for a good price.
When you say block, are you talking about the ACTUAL block, or are you talking about the stock pistons/rods? With stock pistons and rods, 500rwhp is pushing it. Even if you have an awesome tune, the connecting rods werent meant for that power. That vid of the 99 cobra racing the z06 where he blew his rods is proof of that.
