well i just installed the bassani catted X pipe, good power gains, it feels like it doesnt fall asleep after 5k rpm anymore, one thing though, its not as loud as i thought it would be, do the cats have to "break in" like the mufflers?? I mean it sounds great, juss wished it was louder, i was thinking of gutting the cats but i decided to wait just in case it gets louder as time goes by. I have the stock catback piping with stock tips, maybe wider tips will make it a little louder? what do you guys think of all this??

my bassani X w/ flows wasnt too loud at first but it got louder as time went by. also, the stock 2.25" piping quiets your CB down slightly
