I have an 02 GT and thought it had an automatic clutch adjuster already.

Can you shed some light on why I would want the steeda clutch adjuster and quadrant thing?

Thanks

Well the stock one works ok with the stock clutch.. but when you have a aftermarket clutch it tends to keep the cable to slack and you have to keep your foot buried to the rug on WOT high rpm upshifts or you will grind..

if you have this high rpm shifitn problems a aftermarket quad and adjuster will help because it will allow for you tighten the cable and reduce the slack.. this increases the clutch air gap and with a bigger air gap high rpm shifts will be easier to do without grinding

Also I've heard another good reason is because the stock oe is plastic and tends to bend from the stiffness of race clutches.
