Question on dash light color (I don't have mycolor)

Just got my '07 GT, and I love the white light dash color for day, but don't like the dull ugly green color for night (when the headlights are on).

Is there an easy way to always have the white color, even at night? I searched, but could not find an answer.

nobody has found a way yet that i am aware of. i would gladly pay someone to mod my cluster to stay white if they find a way to do it. i dont want the white face guage overlay, and i dont have mycolor. keeping the numbers white would be a great thing, IMO.

I have "MyColor" so I don't know but still you should be able to choose between the 6 basic colors...no? I thought MyColor was just to go through the 125 shades??

I don't think they can change the color at all if they don't have the IUP/Mycolor gauges

Yes you can, there is a connector on the back of the cluster, find a pink with white line that comes from the headlight switch and use a paper clip to remove the wire from the connector. and your dash will always be white.

If you are a skilled soider you could buy surface mount LED and replace all the green LED with another color. I have done it on PC boards before. need good eyes and a steady hand

Are you sure this works; have you tried it? Also, am I going to get any error code(s) as a result of removing this wire? And lastly, can I reconnect the wire if it doesn't work?
