I just found out that the HID option has been delayed. Does anyone know if the shape of the front headlamps remains the same (circular) with or without the HID or will they look like the old 2009 without them. Here are some pictures 2010 lamps is one of these HID and the other the old style lamp?

Thanks for your help guys,

Steve

HID's were originally delayed back in Feb/Mar but have since come off hold.

Thanks Guys,

There was a post on the SVT forum by a guy who has a Shelby on order. He said his dealer called and told him that there was a delay on the HID in addition to the hold up on the airbag cover (passenger side).

I placed my order Friday and my Dealer is going to be calling me next week with some additional info on my order and I will ask him about it.

I too have a GT500 on order, with the HID's. Mine has been built since May 7th and is only beig held up due to the air bag cover

HID's on my 2010 GT look way better than the plain headlights. Check out my pics - the headlight is moved to the inside and the turn/marker light is moved to the outside - the way it should look.(old mach1 look). Also the bezels are a reflective silver and give the appearance of being on from the side when parked - pretty cool .

Does anyone know about daylight running lights on the 2010 GT? Do the HID's stay on all the time? Or is it the fogs? If it's the HID's, I'll be studing the wiring diagram to shut them off, there is no need to have them going all the time.

No daytime running lights on my 2010 GT with Factory HID's. I think you will find that crap on a generic motorcar(GM) forum.

Well here's another proud American who could care less about what's happening across the border! For your information Daytime Running Lights are in fact standard equipment on all Canadian Mustangs, as well as every other vehicle sold in this country. Just thought I'd widen your narrow horizons a little...
