Ok, I have been looking at the BBK's for the Mustang rebuild. A friend of mine told me I should get a Typhoon. He said I can get everything with it, ie. fuel rails, injectors, etc. for the same price of just the BBK intake. However, I have never heard of the Typhoon. Anybody have experience with these?

the performance products intakes are "made in china" repros of the Edelbrock intakes. They are very affordable but made in china (so are the new Cobra Ford Racing intakes) :/ I've been wanting the BBK intake and I keep reading mixed reviews all the time.

Nah, not if I get some answers in here. I just wasn't sure if I put it in the right section. But, thank you.

Personally, I like the look of the Typhoon the best, but if I am going to rebuild this car the right way, while I have the chance and the money to do it.

How long have you had it? How do you like it? That is the one I am seriously considering. Oh yeah, will it fit under a 3" Cowl hood, or will I have to go to a 4"?

it will clear a stock hood on a 302. i have a 351 with a a 2.5" cowl and barely fits. you should be good.

I haven't decided if I am going to keep the stock motor, or drop in a 347. I really need to sit down and come up with a plan.

the 302 and 347 still have the same deck height so you will still be good.
