Question on Msd super conductor wires

For those of you that have used these wires how long can i expect them to last? They are pricey and I sure hope they last a few years. At least 2.

i dont know about longevity, but i heard they have a lot less resistance. i'd have to double check, but it's something like 3x less the resistance lol.

40 ohms resistance as stated on the box in my hand lol apparently stock is 10,000! I like them though they appear to be of very high quality. They have very interesting bendable boots for header clearance. Im used to the motorsports wires that are 90 degrees on both ends. ps. am I the only one that finds trying to separate the ignition wires a flippin pita? I got them pretty good but they still have a somewhat sloppy look to them.

lol, yeah, thats what it was. come to think of it i thought stock was more along 14k ohms or resistance. either way, the msd's are tit's up way better

I'm running those right now and I love them. They will last a while, but it depends on how many miles you put on your car a year. I'm sure you could get 30-50k out of them with no problems. How much are they? I think I got mine for like 45 bucks new.

I have wire separators, i ave 2 on each side that keep them nice and neat looking. Let me find em online

These are cheap cheapy kind, but I have a nice set, that is blue and has some little white emblem on em. Let me go see what mine are.

Mine are blue separators that say MOTORSPORT in white on them, they do the job nicely!

i was just looking some stuff up, and i found when mine were purchised (sp?) they were bought in 00 and its almost 07 and eveything msd looks brand new still!

10 years if you take car of your stuff, maybe longer. Think how long people are running around with stock wires on their crap.

ya i guess wires can potentially last for a very long time..... I have no idea how many years mine have been there (not stock), but I have put like 50K on them myself
