question on spark plugs on aluminum heads, not a mustang.

Just thought I would ask since a lot of peeps here have aluminum heads. My daily driver is a 2001 VW golf. A few months ago I changed the plugs and just recently I started to wonder if I put any anti-seize on them. Well, I found the receipt for the plugs and other things and guess what? no anti seize. You guys think I will be in trouble with out it? should I take them back out and put it on there?

It wouldn't hurt to take them out and put some on but I've never put any anti seize on any of my motorcycle spark plugs, their heads are aluminum, and I've never had a problem.

I agree. I would yank them (if they are accessible) and do the neverseize. But if not, no biggie since you are in Mesa. You still run the risk of galvanic corrosion though.

If they are a pain to access, I would just change them on the early side.

In short, dont sweat it too much unless you feel like playing with it.

I use anti sieze on ALL plugs I install whether they're going into aluminum heads or not.

Does anyone know if removing autolite 3924 plugs after theyve been torqued down is bad news? They have like a compression ring on them that seems to be one time yeild, im not sure if i should remove mine and antiseize them.
