Question on tranny

Hi, if I were to purchase one of the engines listed in the above link, would I have to replace my stock tranny? Im new at this whole modding thing, so any advice would be helpful.

I have a manual transmission btw.

if you buy a modular engine (4.6L) then you would need a new tranny/bellhousing, but if you get a pushrod (5.0... 302, 331, 347) then you can swap your bellhousing and tranny over to the new engine

You sure will, especially if they port the heads or manifold. The tranny will last, just not sure how long.
