I pulled KOER codes on '93 Mustang 5.0 and the first number that pops up is the cylinder identification code. It's a 6. Shouldn't it be an 8?
This is with the basic Innova 3145 OBD1 digital code reader. Inquiring minds want to know.
May not be a big deal. When I run the codes using the same reader I get a "0". I ran the codes by installing the jumper and counting the CEL and it flashed 4 times, which means 8 cylinder motor, so I stopped worrying that my code reader showed "0" instead of "8".
