Question spark plug threads in 2v pi heads

Can the stock pi heads be tapped all the way down to catch all the threads on the spark plugs? I m having the heads ported and forged internals installed this week and was wondering if it can be done since the heads will be off. I dont want to have the problem of the plugs blowing out of the heads, especially after having all this work done.

i dont know, but i wonder too. it would be a shame if ported heads have to go in the trash. when mine is apart for the engine and blower install, im going to ask my builder about it. im hopeing fox lake improved the threads anyway...i doubt the porters do this though. they should...id pay extra!

Since you have them out, you may as well Timesert them all. Not expensive and cheap insurance for your $$$ heads.
