There are two posts on the passenger side of the T-5.
Question 1: these are for the internal reverse/backup switch, no?
Question 2: if that is correct, how do I use them to wire up backup lights in my '66?

What happens if I cut the toploader's reverse switch wires, solder on ring terminals and connect them to the T-5's two terminals? Does that activate the back-up lights for reverse?

Thanks in advance for replies.

Those posts aren't threaded

They just look like they are. They are circular ribs that hold on the friction push on connector.
A wrecking yard would be a good place to get the stock wire connector. Cut off the ends of wires to your old switch and solder them to the pig tails from the connector you cut off at the wrecking yard then use shrink tubing to cover the wiring.

Good luck,

Scott
