Ok guys I know this should go in the sounds and shine section but I need a quick answer. I have the Mach460 system in my car and one of the amps in the rear is blown. I went to have a new aftermarket amp and subwoofer box installed and was told that in order to do this the whole stock audio system needed to be ******ed out and replaced. Is this true? I thought you could just wire in the amp and subwoofer..

True

Alot of cars with factory amps have the decks configured just to them. Meaing you cant just put in a deck and hook it to your factory amp. Trust me it sounds like crap. So with that said, it would be in your best interest to put the extra 350.00 into a new deck and take the factory amp out.
