ebay stroker kit

i'd using a 89 5.0 HO roller block with this kit, along with my billit steel 28oz flywheel from my old 289. looks like a good kit to me, anyone have any comments on it and if i should go for it? seems like a good deal.

also would i be able to use a fairly agressive cam, like a 512 lift and still clear the pistons that come with the kit?

How aggressive motor are you trying to build? Not a bad setup for a 350 to 450 HP setup. (IMO)
I don't like cast (crank) for the higher HP's and they may be just fine.
I'd question or research the KB pistons and where the 3rd ring intersects the wrist pin if at all. Some pistons have been known to leak at this point resulting in higher oil consumption.
KB is a reputable name however and may not have these issues.
What heads are you going to use, he names most of the ones that aren't going to work which are most of the bigger names. You may have to end up flycutting the pistons to make them work.

i'm probably going to stick with the stock 5.0 heads and just get them ported for now. in the future i'd hope to upgrade to some AFR heads. 350-400hp is what im hoping to get out of this engine.

I've never heard of Prime One cranks and rods.
