Questions about tires

I have the Summitomo HTR-Z II's great tire all around!!!!

I got 36,000 out of my first set and have about 20,000 on my 2nd set now and they still look good.

I got mine at a local tire shop for $130.00 each mounted and balanced, I wanna say they run around $115.00 each at discount tire or tire rack not sure though!!!!

I have the Nitto 555's up front and the traction around corners is great, also have nice thread wear, then I have the 555R's in the rear which give the car some extra needed traction but they wear down a lot faster than the 555's.

If your getting tires for mostly street, I would recomend the Nitto 555's then get some old rims and mount the 555R's to them for the track... Thats what I'll be doing here once I need new tires.

I've been running Kumho's Ectsa 712's in sizes 245/45/17 up front, and 275/40/17 out back. I've had them for about 2 years now (20,000 or so miles), and they're just begining to bald.

I believe i got the 245's for a 103 bucks each, and the 275's for a 107 bucks each. That's almost as cheap as they come. Not bad tires for the money.

i have 245-24-17 Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712's and i like them but i dont have any other tire to compare to. I have only had them on since october so im not sure what the tread wear is like. I paid 89 per tire for them and i have to say for the money, they are a great tire.

I also had the Kumho 712's Had absolutly no problems with them. Actually at the track i pulled some 2.0x 60's with them...

If your looking for a decent tire for a decent price i would suggest ebay... I just bought 2 new tires for up front... 380 tread life, A- traction, and A- Heat/compound, Got them for 95 dollars a piece shipped... They are Kelly springfields. The say GT on them... lol

Another vote for the Kumho Ecsta 712's.... Yes, they aren't the best tire out there, but for a daily driver on a budget.. they are a great tire, and have great tire wear, and good dry and wet traction... I had Nitto's 555's on my car before, and they were great for a few months, but.. as you wear them down, the treads seem to get harder, and the ride gets harsh... I remember wishing for a flat tire when I had those... :)

Thanks alot I was thinging about Nittos but I don't know. See like when i bough my car they had kelly charges and I didn't have any problem with traction or anything.

I just need to know where to go to get these tires for a cheap price
