I have a 94 5.0 and i have a cpl of questions on The difference between the BBK CAI and the Mac CAI? The BBK is a 100 Dollars more but what i am wondering is there really a differnce between the two performance wise/appearance? I know that alot of the time your just paying for the name is there really a difference? please input I appreciate it.

As far as I can tell, they are about the same price. It's basically the same product.

Instead of going that BBK or MAC route, Why not consider snderson ford motorsports power pipe? I think they are lot better and better made. here is the link:

I personally use the C&L intake kit and have no problem as well

Good luck

There used to be one made by a company called "Dense Charger." Not sure what happened to them. The intake was made of plastic and was straighter. Seemed like a good design to me.

Still got a Densecharger CAI on my '01; quality product & customer support/service as well (statistical sample size of 1, although haven't heard of anybody having problems with Mr. DeMolet back in the day). Chose to go with a JLT CAI on my '94 though.

FWIW - Densecharger (operated by Mr. DeMolet) became "TunableInduction" at some point in time (URL = Tunable Induction LLC The Original Mustang True Cold Air Intake System . Now Partnered with Unique Tuning LLC The Carolinas #1 Source for Mustang & Dodge Performance Parts, Service And Dynojet Tuning Using Diablosport And SCT Tuning Software ). They use the green filters with their CAIs, if it matters to anyone. LOL

Thanks for the update. That Tunable induction setup is the ****. That's what I would go with.

That densecharger looks very promising if everything they said is true and correct. I think all of the manufacture of the cold air intake we have mentioned above will be better then stock and will give you more power.

I am just more into metal then plastic since i am clumsy and probably will break that plastic plange trying to take the filter or MAF off, lol

I got my CAI from american muscle. 5.0 Mustang Cold Air Intake Kit (94-95 GT) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

The only problem I had was the couplers weren't the correct size but you can get couplers from home depot for $4-$8.

Thanks guys for your input i just was wondering are most of the air filters universal or are they made to just fit their matching CAI? Looking to put CAI on my 07 GT/CS as well.
