quick ? about superchipsmicrotuner

can the superchips microtuner be transferable between cars if the stock setting is put back in the original car. I have an oportunity to purchase one cheap from someone and want to know if it will work for me. thanks

I used to have one of these and that will work as long as the other guy puts his car back to stock. I had to send mine back as I was getting knocking from my larger TB and plenum. According to the company, the device is not corrected for these mods. Keep that in mind if you plan on upgrading later. If the price is right, buy it and sell it later if needed.

yeah thats what i figured, im getting a real good deal on it and if I change anyof the stuff like you said i'll just sell the tuner. thanks for the help

NO it won't work on any other car. All it will do is read the diagnostic codes on ANY ford with OBDII. It marries itself to the original car it was used for as far as tuning. Read the manual that came with the tuner! Do you think SUPERCHIPS would sell something that could be used on any car? Get real and don't listen to that guy!
