i have a 94 auto 5.0.. i am planning on doing the t-5 swap over the winter/spring and have found an aluminum drive shaft as advertised as under "94-98 cobra parts etc..." im just wondering if maybe this wont fit my 94 if its from a 96-98, or if there is a different balance to it being for a cobra...i dont think there is...but i need to know before i drop 100 beans on this bad boy...also, will it hook right up to the trans output shaft on both the auto or the t-5, and similarly to the rear end, or do i need a new coupling (god i think thats what its called... (the "universal" fitting) well now that i look like an idiot, what about the cobra guage cluster, will that work if its from a 94 or 95, or are the connections in the back different, or is the speedo a 160 mph opposed to the 150 of the gt? i know the 96-98's wont work with a different redline and speedo... chime in if you got any info... thanks, kyle

94-95 gauges will work fine.

If it was a 5.0/T-5 94-95 car the drive shaft will work. Fox body is different length. AODE is different length. No balancing difference, no extra coupling needed.

i thought the driveshafts were the same length for a t-5 and aod-e, i know when buying the AMP conversion kit...its supposed to include eveything needed for the swap, and ive never heard of a new driveshaft being needed, just a popular upgrade when doing the job...so i think they are the same length, no? i only care because i might put the d/s on early before i do the swap
