Quick Check-In

Just stopping in to say Hi.... It's Rodeo week here in Yuma, and I haven't quite moved onto the Rodeo Grounds yet - There was a problem with my RV, it hasn't made it from the dealership onto the Grounds yet; and I'm not sleeping in my truck!

Tink made it in Monday night; and immediately took over the Rodeo Arena.... by the time the guy who is supposed to be in charge of the Arena starts taking time off from work; it'll be perfect, and most of his crew will be devoted to Tink

I'm hatin' it.... with this newest "management-level" position in the Rodeo; I spend more time dealing with people than playing with the mud and the animals. In fact this is just a couple of seconds to check my email accounts (and say "Howdy") before I jump in the shower to clean up for an 0815 TV spot on a morning show.

Holy cr@p! It's 0729! Gotta get in the shower.

As long as you're still with us, that's cool. Been very quiet here and other forums, such as the Factory Five forums too. All the fun is on the $helby & SAAC forums with the chicken farmer's horse-poop.

Yeah its been dead everywhere i just cant get motivated to do anything on the forums. I hope that it picks up soon, but spring time the forums always come alive. You haven't missed much just a cold winter in the midwest.

On the Road To Recovery (Sort Of)

I'm baaaaa-aaacckkk! :D

I've had 19.5 hours' sleep in the last 6 days. My feet hurt from too much walking; my butt hurts from a little more time than I've been used to (recently) in a saddle; my eyeglasses are broken but patched and I have 6 or 7 (maybe 8 or more, too tired to count) wounds on my hands, arms and sundry other extremities. I haven't heard from Tink in a couple days, but I also haven't heard from either the US Army or TSA; so I can only assume that she made it back to Bragg in one piece.
There's just almost enough room for me to sit in Larry (my F150); all other space is taken up with stuff that "collected" in two trucks -Larry and the '08 Dodge Quad-Cab 2500 "Comittee Truck" I was driving. Tink was driving Larry; so I even managed to get back most of the shirts she took home from last year's Silver Spur Rodeo; plus couple of hers (not sure if I can pull off wearing "Cruel Girl" blouses, though). :p
When I finally got home last night; one of the dogs growled at me like I was a stranger. He finally settled down after I "re-acquainted" myself with Mrs StDr; and we made sure she was more than just the helpful person that rescued my VIP tent and stands from imminent mangagerial meltdown.

It was a blast! Only 370 days 'til the next one on Valentine's Weekend, 2009.

So, did I miss anything??????:rlaugh:

Try not to worry too much about it. Actually, you really can't worry too much about it, since you, as well as everyone else, including myself, cannot remember it.

Like I said. It was The End Of The World As We Know It.:(

Feel better now?:nice:

If not just take two aspirin, wash them down with a beer and go snuggle up with a hot blonde nurse.

Unless of course, in this reality she isn't blonde.

Or a she.:crazy::crazy:

Damn! I keep forgetting which reality I'm in this time.

Now aren't y'all glad y'went on that thar little trip?:p

Nope, she's blonde; and definitely a she! (EDIT: Jimmy = ; Sue = :D )

Soooo-ooo-ooo, I dunno what happened across this wide sweeping country, over in that alternative reality in which you and Pak live - wherein an increase in power for Hillary and her Uncle Teddy (D@mn Southern Irishman! Orange as the day is long!) is considered a good thing; but out here in the Desert; The World As We Know It apparently did not end!
