If somebody doesnt trust a 40 amp relay on the fan, we make this one, which is a 80 amp continuous/150 surge.

You know guys, it's nice to know our lurking vendors have our wallets in mind!

Hi,
Naw, Naw, nothing like that. Anyway, some of those "lurking vendors" do offer special prices or provide helpful advice on our many automotive ills.
Happy Trails!

So i have read some electric fans draw up to 50 amps when starting.

I dont think my 35 amp stock alt is going to work well.

Plus the CD ignition, electric fuel pump ect.

Any thoughts on this?

I thought the stock alternator was more like 50-60 amps. Either way, I would advise an alternator upgrade, just like the others have. I have a 1 wire GM style 100 amp from Summit. Another good option is a 3G alternator from a later model Ford.
