Installing my FRPP shorties, and I just opened up my pack of Fel-Pro 1415 gaskets. I was wondering if there is a particular side that goes to the head, or if it doesn't matter. The gasket has a blue side that has Fel-Pro and the part number stamped on it, and the other side is a dark blue with no markings. My guess is the blue "Fel-Pro" side belongs toward the header, and the unmarked side belongs toward the head...

Sorry if this is a silly question...don't want to do this install more than once!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter at all. I've installed similar ones before and they've made no difference either way.

If ones side has a raised ring on it (maybe the blue part), put it toward the header.

Thanks guys! I just got the passenger side header on, and I put the blue side toward the header...

Man, these FRPP headers go on WAAAAAAAAY easier than the POS BBK individual flange ones that I took off.
