I got a MSD6t im pretty sure its called, can this be used on a stang? Ive been reading about it and all i saw the difference was that it has better wire and vibration insulation inside since its made more for offroad applications? I noticed its a little smaller than my 6AL, would this work on stang? (and no im not replacing it with my 6al)lol

6T Circle Track Ignition
121-6400
The internal components and functions of the 6T are identical to the 6A except for two additional features; special modifications for vibration dampening with internal bracing and rubber shock mounts are incorporated along with a special connector that accepts the MSD Soft Touch Rev Control (121-8738), the Soft Touch Engine Control (121-8968). An RPM module selector (121-8670) can also be used in conjunction with these rev controls. 50-state legal via EO#D-40-26.
(Odd-Fire V6 use P/N 6446)

Description

The 6AL shares the same proven circuitry of the 6A with the addition of a built-in adjustable rev limiter. The combination of powerful sparks with the safety of a Soft Touch Rev Control is what makes the 6AL the most popular ignition control in the world.
MSD first developed the Soft Touch rev control to prevent overrev damage to your motor in the event of a missed shift or driveline failure. The rpm limit is adjustable in 100 rpm increments with MSD’s plug-in modules. When the engine reaches your selected limit, the Soft Touch circuitry begins dropping the spark to various cylinders. On the next cycle, these plugs are fired again to prevent fuel from loading up in the cylinder. The result is a smooth and accurate limiting action without backfires or roughness.
The Soft Touch Rev Control also opens the door for you to add rpm accessories such as a Two Step Rev Control. A Two Step allows you to set two rpm limits, one for a holeshot rpm and another for overrev protection.
The 6AL is supplied with rubber shock mounts and modules for 3,000, 6,000, 7,000 and 8,000 rpm.

The 6T and 6A use the same board, with the only difference being the 6T has a harness coming from the board that will allow you to run an external rev limiter. So pretty much you use have the option of using the 6T as a 6A or 6AL.
