Oh dear GOD!! Why do people still not know the difference between a standard 1999 V6 and GT versus the GT "Limited Edition"?

see www.mustang35th.com if your Mustang doesn't look like this, you have a standard GT/V6.

The 99 35th Aniversary model has the raised hood scoop, black patch of paint the runs from the hood scoop to the front of the car, two tone leather seats black and grey, 35th Aniversary speedo, 35th Anniversary floor mats, billet shift knob, honeycomb inserts on the rear bumper, and special 5 star rims with black stripping pony inserts.

Heres a link of pictures of what I am talking about.

Was it mid 01 that the headlights became smoked or 02? Some 99s had the hood scoop. 2000s did not have the scoop, the rear spoiler was not a T type. I like the rear spoiler on the 99-00 better. I put an 01 scoop on my 2000. 99-00 did come with 17 inch wheels. GTs could be ordered with 16 inch . My car cam with 16s. Makes it look a lot like a V6, the sound gives it away though. The V6s did not have the rear bumber cutouts for the exaust.

That is kinda stupid...should I call my insurance and say I dont really have a 35th? Because I am paying more a month for insurance, totalling 120 more a year.

It shouldn't make a differance wether it's the special edition or not because the special edition just had some cosmetic differances but not any hp improvments.

Oh but it does. I pay extra on my "Limited" GT because its a "special model".
The option was $2600 over the cost of a standard GT at the time.

But I pay 120$ more for just the badge...not the actual limited gt.

Why would you need to ask this question? Of course you should call them. Why pay more for something you don't have?

Well I wanted to call them, but find out if others with my car are paying similar. I am going to call them tomorrow anyway, since I recieved a letter today claiming my insurance is going up almost 50$ a month because I am no longer a "new buisines account", figure I either lose that price or a I contact a new company to get a "new business account".....

Sick of state farm's sh.t anyway.
