Quick question about the Trick Flow intake.

On the drivers side of the intake there is a T-fitting with the hose from the PCV, and a big "J" looking hose that goes to the under side of the intake. My "J" looking hose has some cracks in it. Can I just remove the hose and plug the ports, or do I need to have that hose on there?
