Quick question about wheels for 2000 GT

So Ive been browsing around for new wheels to replace the stockers on my 2000GT, I notice a lot of places sell rims that say "Fits 2005 - 2008 Mustangs" , Did the bolt pattern change in 05 or what is it that makes them not work on earlier mustangs? Thanks.

The offset is different, so if you were to use the 05+ wheels on your 2000, they'd be tucked way in.
