Quick question before install saturday...

Im gettin my steeda underdrives installed saturday and i was thinking about it and wondered since the sizes changed on the pulleys, would i need a different belt, but then i thought just the ratios of the pulleys changed, I need help because i basically confused myself trying to think of how they work. Also if i use the same belt, should i get a new one since i will already have the old off anyways?

Thanks

Yes. In line w/ Coromprat the alternator & water pump pulley's are larger so they turn slower. That is what underdrive basically means. Due to the fact that the alternator & water pump are being underdriven there are now freed up horses. Running a smaller crank pulley allows it to spin faster, applying th freed up horses directly to the crank, increasing HP & TQ. Make sense? How many miles are on your car. I'm on my 3rd belt @ 43000, but changed to my 2nd belt @ 5000 cuz Ford thought my Throwout Bearing squeaking was my belt & I didnt' know better then.
