"SEARCHED"

Will a 98 4.6 Gt superchip work on a 95 5.0 computer..if reprogrammed? I know nothing about the Modulars...just wondering if the electric prongs are the same on the computer?

I was reading that; Some 1994 and 1995 models had pre-compliance OBD-II systems. I was just wondering if the computers were designed the same IE Prongs. I would reflash the chip with a t4mo bin.

No, it will not work. The 5.0 computer is completely different from the 4.6 computer.

if you had it reprogrammed i think it should. the SCT chip i have for my 95 looks exactly like the KB chip for the 02... but i would call a SCT dealer to find out first

Do you think a computer that controls a 4.6 liter engine with an overhead camshaft is going to use the same programming that a 5 liter hydraulic cam shaft engine uses? The 96 GT uses EECV OBDII while the 5.0 uses EECIV OBDI.

If you think I'm wrong, try to use a tuning strategy on your SN95 with the TWEECER R/T thats not CBAZA. I tried the A9L from a FOX platform on my SN95 and let me tell you I thought my car was gonna explode.

The J3 port is probably the same so that Ford didn't have to modify its test apparatus everytime a new vehicle came out.

I believe that this is correct, it makes sense to me. But like urban wisely recommended, a dealer should be contacted.

Sorry for the double posts.

Black I totally know that I can't run a 4.6 program on my EEC :bang: I was just asking if my buddies Blue superchip would work with a T4mo reflash? I used to have the TweeCer RT. So that being said; the prongs on the back of the EEC are the same all the way up to 2004
