What is your cars redline..............mine is acting up or something and shifting up at 4200 at WOT then shifting, is this normal for the stock 70 mustang with a 302????????
well mine isn't very stock.......h/c/i/e but what is it safe to rev up to on these motors without touching bottom end, a local performance shop said the 302s are pretty good till 5000, is this true, or was he just bs-ing???
hes bout right. ive taken mine up to 6000 when it was stock. the engine was crying and there was no power. but it went up fine. its normal for it to shift at 4200. that actaully sounds bout dead right.
