OK...so i am kind of new to the V8 scene. I had a 96 V6 stang as my first car and drove that for three years and I loved the car. It wasnt the fastest in the world but it was my first and loved it nonetheless. As a 20th bday present to myself i went out and picked up a 2002 GT and traded in the v6 for chicken scratch. Love the new car and it is night and day compared to the 'ol sixer. Anyway, i am beginning the mods cycle and I just ordered a magnapack cat back today. I have been looking around and dyno tests on a stock 02 gt are around 230 rwhp give or take. My question is, does anybody have a dyno chart to see what a magnapack cat back will add to an otherwise bone stock 99+ GT? thanx a million ahead of time

I would say around 4-5 rhwp...catback doesn't help much..the midpipe is the one bringing decent #s..

Get yourself an X-pipe and you will really notice the gains

will i get decent gains even if i get an x pipe with cats? or what about an H pipe with cats? i hear the h pipe has a deeper voice to it which is preferable to me

There isnt much difference between catted and not catted besides the loudness, but there is a difference between h and x. You will see slightly bigger gains from the X, but it has a higher pitch to it. The H is a deeper "american muscle" sound. I say go with the Pro Chamber (o/r H), or if you want catted then the Magnaflow catted X. IM me for some sound clips.
