You can reach them with everything in the car. They are 5/8. I just broke the porcelain part off of a couple old spark plugs and put the spark plugs in the thermactor holes.

Are you doing this to the GT-40p heads because the thermactor tube is incompatable with them?

No, these are for the stock heads, gt40p heads arent going in for a while, im broke, but i have the a/c delete brackets laying around I figure its summer, have a day off, ill wake up early and with my mechanic skills ill be done by the end of the day haha. Ill be fine with no smog pump when I go to put the p heads in right?

If you have cats no. You'll still need the smog pump pumping into the H-pipe. If you dont have cats then your cool to lose all that emmissions stuff.

Yea I knew I didnt need it if I didnt have cats. I have an o/r hpipe now, but long tubes headers and an o.r x pipe are going in with the heads so ill be fine. But I dont need to plug anything in the gt40p heads your saying?

I think the GT-40Ps may also have thermactor holes. If they do just plug them up the same way you plug up the stock E7s.

I just did mine, and I'm almost 100% sure they were 9/16-20 threads. And aren't spark plug threads 14mm?

yes you are somewhat correct. but they are 9/16-12. Get grade 8 fastener and cut it down some. Then you can use a 14mm copper washer to seal it up good.

Right, 9/16-12. I used a 1" bolt and slathered it with Loctite thread sealant.

Same here. Put some sealer on it and thread the bolt in the hole. BTW- My spark plugs did NOT thread in the hole. Tried it and it wasn't the right thread.

Wierd. I've done it twice and the spark plugs threaded in just fine. I did this with E7s. I can even take a pic if you guys want.

No thermactor holes on the P heads. Just the accessory mounting hole.
